What an incredible week of worship, teaching, and sharing stories with over 4,500 people, spanning over 60 countries at the Vineyard Global conference. Some highlights: UK National Director Ele Mumford affirmed our roots to “be naturally supernatural” and to “not be weird”, Nepal National Director Noel Isaacs led us to worship God with dance, and Kenya National Director Noah Gitau shared stories of remarkable healings.

It was wonderful to connect with old friends and stir new connections at our VJN breakfast this week at the Vineyard Global Conference. We had over 130 folks join us! Highlight: Canada pastor George Esser shared that his church finally won their case last week to run a homeless shelter in their city: “This case is much bigger than River City Vineyard….It is about churches across the country being allowed to show love and compassion for those in need. It is about showing that homeless people are welcome in our neighbourhoods and should not be treated like outcasts.”

On Thursday morning, Vineyard Columbus campus pastor Charles Montegomery gave an electrifying talk that challenged everyone to attend to the “dividing walls of hostility” that continue to segregate us within our own churches, neighborhoods, and nations. The session ended with several historic, public acts of repentance and reconciliation, but all the national leaders acknowledged that this moment of engagement marked the continuation of the long, slow work of racial, gender, and social reconciliation. Check out his talk:
