Keeping the Crown on King Jesus in a Pandemic

Keeping the Crown on King Jesus in a Pandemic

The world feels like it is revolving around the COVID-19 pandemic, and yet this Holy Week we cling to Jesus Christ as our Center and our King. And this Center will hold.

We have curated some resources that we hope will equip you and shape your voice and spiritual practices as a Kingdom witness for your community.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, it remains well with our souls.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS IN A TIME OF PANDEMIC

Walk the stations of the cross with Betwixt Podcast.

There are 14 stations. Each meditation is between 10-15 minutes long. If you are listening during Holy Week, consider listening to two stations per day. Or you may also to choose to listen the whole way through a few times to experience the full journey. It’s recommended that you pause for prayer after each station and journal your response.

Guerilla Bible Study Webinars

VJN is pleased to highlight a series of Bible study webinars from Bob Ekblad and Tierra Nueva.

From Bob Ekblad:
Now is a good time to deepen our exposure to Good News, and to prepare to proclaim the Gospel in our settings. I see a big need for a grassroots movement to grow that will be about bearing witness to Jesus and the Kingdom of God. This movement needs to include a return to Bible study that is fresh and relevant to our contexts.

ALL VUSA-SPONSORED EVENTS CANCELLED THROUGH DECEMBER

Out of wisdom and prudence, Vineyard USA has suspended all VUSA-sponsored events through the end of the year. Unfortunately, this includes our joint conference with Society of Vineyard Scholars in April and Better Together in August.

We join with the chorus of voices praying for the Lord’s mercy, protection, and healing for those most affected and vulnerable to COVID-19, as well as our medical and health professionals on the front-lines and essential workers. Lord, refresh us, lead us along the right path, and comfort us. Surely goodness and love will follow us as we follow Jesus.
