Talk: Love One Another-Cultural Competence Matters

Talk: Love One Another-Cultural Competence Matters

On this weeks sermon, we get into cultural competence through Josh Williams talk at the Better Together Conference last August.

He beautifully describes what actual cultural competence means as “the ability to interact effectively with people of different cultures and to help ensure the needs of all community members are addressed.”
However, more than just a definition, Willimas unpackages what it means and entitles.

Josh, originally from Iowa, moved to New Haven for school. Became the first Elm City intern, church whom since 2014 is ECV’s full-time Lead Pastor
