MLK’s Strategy for Today: The Discipleship Framework of Nonviolence

Nonviolence is more than an idealistic theory for dreamers; it is a discipleship strategy rooted in the teachings of Jesus that can revolutionize our lives, our churches, our cities and towns, our nation and world.

Every year, millions celebrate Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day in January.

But do we honor MLK’s dying wish in 1968 that was made hours before he was assassinated — to institutionalize nonviolence? What does that even mean?

On January 20th at 10am MST, Josh Williams, Associate National Director for Evangelism and Justice, will share more about this discipleship strategy and how it can be a tool for your church as you pursue Christian discipleship in the 21st century and seek to respond to challenging justice issues of our day.

If you are looking for how a practical tool for justice can walk hand in hand with the teachings of Jesus, this webinar on Kingian nonviolence is for you.
